On April 26, 2025, I had the immense joy of kicking off our 2025 wedding season with a destination wedding in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado - and let me tell you: it was nothing short of magical. The day was a beautiful blend of fun, elegance, and heartfelt moments, reflecting the love story that K+I share.
Kristin and Ian came to me as soon as they got engaged, knowing the weight of planning a destination wedding, but also seeing so clearly exactly what they wanted. They wanted a short engagement, so we got right to work, coordinating with their vendors, refining their vision, and ensuring we hit all the key points of their big day. It was a lot of work, but so worth every hour of planning to see the day unfold as beautifully as it did.Â
In the blink of an eye, K+I’s wedding day was here. From the moment Kristin stepped into her gown, radiating grace and anticipation, to Ian’s oh-so-sweet reaction during their first look, every detail was meticulously curated to embody their journey together. The ceremony unfolded in front of the untouched landscape of the Rockies with over 130 loved ones, most of whom flew in just for this moment.Â
The reception was a BLAST. Peak Beverage provided phenomenal bar service with some of the most skilled bartenders I’ve come across to date! And don’t even get me started on K+I’s caterer, Mountain Crust Pizza. This team of pizza connoisseurs was OVER THE TOP. They were whipping up pizzas and brick-oven roasted cookies left and right. They were truly the stars of the show.Â
A couple moments that will live rent-free in my brain from K+I’s wedding day were…
Seeing how emotional guests got when reading the personal thank you cards that Kristin and Ian hand-wrote to each guest at their wedding and used as their place card.Â
The stunningly elegant-mixed-with-boho tablescape that Kristin and I worked together to curate. This came together perfectly and I was overjoyed to see how excited Kristin got when she saw it all come together.Â
The dance floor was truly one to remember. Rarely have I seen guests be so excited to be on the dance floor but this wedding definitely took the cake. TH Entertainment KILLED it with DJing.Â
The joy of the day. So many couples try to do it all when it comes to wedding planning, but rarely do things go off without a hitch - which is exactly where I step in, to shield my couples from any potential disruption or turbulence on their wedding day or in the weeks and months leading up to it. Kristin and Ian spent the day in each other’s arms without a care in the world because they simply had nothing to stress about.Â
This day truly wouldn’t have been the same without each of the incredible vendors who made it possible! Thank you to all of the following:Â
